Another Filipino radio broadcaster killed

A radio anchor was shot dead in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija on Thursday morning.

Julius Cauzo, radio anchor of Radio DWJJ, was shot dead by a motorcycle-riding gunman at around 8:30 a.m., according to PO2 Fernando Cacayurin of Cabanatuan Police.

Police said Cauzo, 51, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Good Samaritan Hospital.

Cauzo sustained three gunshot wounds to his chest.

Police have yet to determine the motive for the shooting.

National Union of Journalists of the Philippines (NUJP) Secretary General Rowena Paraan said if Cauzo's killing was work-related, it would be the fifth this year, and 14th under the Aquino administration.

ABS-CBN Acquired The Voice?

After the success of the The Voice USA, ABS-CBN acquired the rights of the franchise for The Voice. Philippines was then listed as one of the countries who bought the rights for the franchise as posted in the website of Talpa. The show was later confirmed by Laurenti Dyogi, a Filipino director who had a notable success with the reality shows like Pinoy Big Brother, Pinoy Dream Academy, andJunior MasterChef Pinoy Edition.

The first season will be expected to air its premier on 2013. 

XFactor Philippines: KZ Tandingan Trends on Twitter

Seventh to perform on stage at the XFactor Philippines was KZ Tandingan, performing The Show of Lenka. After finishing her performance, Ms. Pilita comented being not a right choice of song for her. But still KZ still gets good comments on the rest of the judges. Garry V. on the other side pointed that KZ was an early favorite that even trends on Twitter and accumulating number of followers and likes on Facebook.

KZ tops the fourth and fifth spot on Twitter trending topic not only in the Philippines but WORLD WIDE with hash tags GO KZ and Si KZ.
